Jim's Story:

I need your help…

From time to time we all need a hand. Our YMCA ensures that “hand” is there for those in need.

Stephanie and her two kids, Michael and Alex go to the Y three times a week – for swim lessons, family gym and just plain fun with other kids and families. “This is such an important part of their well-being” says Stephanie, “and mine too – to be able to connect with other adults and feel less alone as a parent”.

This is possible because of you – Stephanie, a single mother, not by choice, and only physically able to work part-time needs our help. She pays what she can for their YMCA activities and folks like us pay the remainder.

I want to ensure this family and others just like them remain healthy and active in their community. I want to raise at least $250.00 to help make this happen. While any gift is much appreciated, you might want to consider making a monthly gift – knowing your investment in others continues throughout the year.

To join me in giving, please click on the “donate now” button and make a difference today. And from Stephanie, “thank you… you have no idea how important this is for me and my boys”.

Sincere thanks from me as well!

Why give?

Through the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign, the YMCA reaches out to children, teens, and families who are unable to afford the full cost of participation in a YMCA program or activity in our community.  By giving to the YMCA Strong Kids Campaign, you’re helping us build strong kids, strong families and strong communities.
